DRILLING AND OPERATIONS UPDATE - WOLLOGORANG COBALT PROJECT, NT

 

50% of Area 1; air core drilling completed

  • 634 holes completed at average depth of 5m, for a total of 3,305m completed 

  • 150m average metres per day of fast, cheap and low environmental impact drilling


Samples sent to laboratory; portable XRF sent for repair with possible contamination issue 

  • operational issues with the portable XRF have resulted in delays of the drilling results

  • laboratory assays of samples will be undertaken until the XRF repairs are completed


Helicopter aeromagnetic survey commenced over weekend to expand coverage to 19 time the current area

  • expecting to extend aircore program with new zones of interest from geophysics

  • new survey of 1,720 km2  will expand 2017 survey of 90km2

  • co-funding geophysics grant of $100,000 won from NT government for this program

 

Aircore drilling program to progress over remainder of the year targeting expanded exploration targets (Area 2)


Stage one of slim-line hammer drilling program to commence driven by pending lab results

  • planned to drill to ~25m depth to map anomalous aircore results pre resource drilling

  • fast, low cost method to allow rapid target assessment over large areas

  • minimal environmental footprint reducing cost

 

Deeper RC drilling to commence on best prospects subject to assay results
